While there have been many bad auditions on The X Factor over the years, not one has seen the auditionees ending up fighting on stage… until now! Friends Abbey Johnston and Lisa Parker had to be separated on stage after one hit the other following poor comments from the judges.

The incident happened at the Birmingham auditions in front of guest judge Natalie Imbruglia after Simon branded Parker’s performance as “the worst audition in history”.

“All of a sudden I felt ­something across my head,” Parker told The Mirror. “I just remember being hit and then having a headache. I think Abbey only hit me once but then a security guard grabbed her and another one pushed me against the wall so I couldn’t get to her.”

She added: “If Simon hadn’t been so nasty this probably wouldn’t have happened.”

The audition will be broadcast in tomorrow night’s third X Factor audition episode.

It wasn’t only the pair’s vocals which were poor, their attitude was also terrible, including sticking up their middle fingers at Simon and asking guest judge Natalie Imbruglia, “Who are you?.”

A show spokesperson confirmed: “Things got a bit heated. Producers quickly stepped in.”
