It seems like Dannii Minogue’s Manolo’s are hard shoes to fill on The X Factor but Alexandra Burke has hinted she could be next to give the judging role a go.

The 2008 X Factor winner told The Metro: “I’d love to be a judge on The X Factor. I would really love to. But I can’t really comment on that.

“It would be great. I love the show. But I’m not sure what’s going to happen. It’s up to Simon Cowell at the end of the day. It’s all in the future.”

Alexandra certainly understands the pressures of the show and just how much the hard work can pay off, having enjoyed number one singles and a hugely successful album.

She seems like the perfect person to give advice to the new batch of wannabe popstars.

Natalie Imbruglia and Geri Halliwell have already had a go at filling in for Dannii although neither has been greatly received.

Could Alexandra make a better impression on the crowds and offer some real advice, just like her mentor Cheryl Cole?
