X Factor star Alexandra Burke has landed a modelling contract with top London agency IMG Models.

The company also have Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell on their books.

Sources revealed that the agency agreed a contract with the Start Without You singer last week.

She has since been meeting the models and designers during London Fashion Week.

According to MTV, Burke said: “To be an actual fashion model is every girl’s dream and I’m really thrilled about it.

“It will be the first time I’ve done any modelling but it’s going to be so exciting and I’m going to do my best to do a good job.”

She added: “I haven’t got a natural body shape for a model but there’s no way I’m going to be going too skinny or anything like that.

“I want to be a good role model for young girls so I will just eat healthily and exercise like I always have.”
