As revealed earlier this week on our Twitter feed, the theme for the second week of The X Factor live shows is ‘Musical Heros’. The remaining 14 finalists will each be singing a track by their very own favourite artists, giving the opportunity for a wide range of song choices on Saturday!
Despite there being lots of flexibility in the theme, some contestants are still struggling. The Girls’ wildcard Treyc Cohen said she is finding it hard to pick just a single song from her favourites to perform on Saturday.
Meanwhile we could see some interesting tracks – with favourite Cher Lloyd previously saying American country singer Dolly Parton is one of her musical favourites.
Axed act Nicolo got even more annoyed at leaving the competition during the first week on hearing the theme, with the Italian born singer looking forward to singing Spice Girls’ ‘Viva Forever’.
Personally, I’m secretly hoping to find out Wagner’s musical hero is David Hasselhoff…
On the Sunday Katy Perry and X Factor 2008 finalist Diana Vickers will perform on the show, where it’s expected another two acts will be eliminated.
